Our partnerships make a difference.
CHCLC is a proud CoRE Alliance member.
The following information from Women's Health Grampians explains the program.
"The Communities of Respect and Equality Alliance is a partnership for organisations, businesses, clubs, groups and networks from across the Grampians Region that share a vision for safe, equal and respectful communities. All member organisations have committed to the vision and goals outlined in the Communities of Respect and Equality: A plan to prevent violence against women and their children.
Organisations from across the Grampians who also share this vision and would like to work together to make it a reality are invited to join the CoRE Alliance. The Plan is for those who believe that our communities can be better places to live if we take action together to promote change. With the combined leadership, influence, authority and action of those committed to the Plan, we will build a new future for our region, its cities, towns and communities, in which gender inequality and violence against women is an issue of the past. This Plan has been developed to help guide and direct individual and collective work in building communities of respect and equality, and prevent violence against women before it occurs."

Information sessions at Family Relationships Centre (FRC)
Central Highlands Community Legal Centre (CHCLC) continues the successful partnership in providing legal information sessions to clients undergoing family dispute resolution at the Ballarat FRC. CHCLC participates in information sessions open to separated parents and significant family members such as grandparents three times per month at varying dates and times. Participants are encouraged to make an appointment with CHCLC should they require legal advice prior to commencing mediation or at any time during the process. Community Lawyers can assist clients with parenting plans, consent orders and the drafting of court documents for matters relating to children. |
